SCSC & Cyberabad Police have launched their 9th SHE Shuttle and with this Telangana’s Genome valley, India’s first and largest Life Sciences manufacturing cluster, has got it’s first SHE Shuttle today, for the for the benefit of women employees working in Genome Valley, Turkapally & its surrounding areas. With this, the working women in Genome valley will have a safe transport system for them. She Shuttle is a Free, unique initiative and one of its kind in the country. This exclusive transport system for the women professionals in the Genome Valley rolled out for the transit safety of women, especially for the last mile connectivity. The SHE Shuttle operates from Turkapally Village to Kolthur, enroute covering all the major parks like IKP, MN Park – and companies like Bharat Bio-Tech, Novaritis, BE etc. This shuttle operates from from 07:15 AM to 9 PM.
Ms Suchitra Ella, Co-Founder & JMD Bharat Biotech & Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS., Secretary, IT & I/C, Mr Narsimha Reddy TSIIC, Mr Stephen Raveendra IPS along with Mr Krishna Yedula have launched the First SHE Shuttle in Genome valley, 9th SHE Shuttle by SCSC, for the benefit of women employees working in Genome Valley, Turkapally & its surrounding areas.
Speaking on the occasion Ms Suchitra Ella, Co-Founder & JMD Bharat Biotech, who has flagged off the SHE Shuttle along with Mr Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Secretary IT & Industries and communications, Mr Stephen Raveendra, Commissioner of Police said that this is a good initiative for working women in that area and the working women will have a safe option of commuting to office and back home.
Speaking on the occasion Sri. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS., Secretary, IT & I/C, said “I congratulate SCSC for launching SHE Shuttle in Genome valley for the benefit of working professionals in the Pharma & Life Sciences sector too. He said SHE Shuttle has become an innovative transport system and unique to Telangana in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, TSIIC MD Mr Narasimha Reddy said that TSIIC has been supporting SHE Shuttle initiative since beginning and they are proud to be associated with SCSC for extending support and announced support for 2 more SHE Shuttles for the Genome Valley.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Police, Mr Stephen Raveendra said that there will be lot more focus on women safety & Traffic safety in Genome valley from Cyberabad Police and he said the way SHE Shuttle was very successful in IT Corridor – same thing will take place in Genome Valley too. He also congratulated Bharat Biotech for the successful vaccine production.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Krishna Yedula, General Secretary SCSC said that SCSC was in forefront of facilitating safe transport for women employees since 2015 & this is the 9th such SHE Shuttle, 8 of them are operating in IT Corridor. The first two SHE Shuttles were launched in 2015 and since then SCSC kept adding more SHE Shuttles since then. He said that SCSC has begun with 1 SHE Shuttle in Genome Valley and he also announced that Neuland Laboratories has come forward to sponsor a SHE Shuttle bus in Bontapalli pharma corridor and thanked them for this offer. If SCSC gets more support from the local industry, it is open to operate more no. of SHE Shuttles in that area, so that frequency can be better.
Speaking at the SHE Shuttle launch at Genome Valley, Women’s Forum Leader, Ms Pratyusha Sharma said “ Welcoming all dignitaries and participants Pratyusha Sharma , Joint secretary added SCSC Womens forum from the time of inception in 2016 has taken up many activities to ensure women feel safe , are more aware of the ecosystem and are empowered to voice out their concerns . Women safety has been a keen priority and we are happy to launch all our initiatives to the Pharma and Life sciences sector .I am very happy to see that our 9th SHE Shuttle for women is getting launched at Genome Valley and I am sure women working at Genome valley would have this safe transport system.

SHE- Shuttle equips itself with a well monitored Surveillance System with CCTV, a lady security guard and a Smart App for every passenger with panic button. This smart transport system operates in loops and managed through a real time app on smart phones of users. GPS Tracking of the proximity of the shuttle is monitored by logging into the app and helps the user to decide when to wrap up her office work and reach the bus stop just before the arrival of the bus to ensure better safety on road. The shuttle features a techno-friendly side for the working women commuters from the start point to the end point of the journey through diversified Smart App: ‘Reach Safe’. The APP tracks the movement and location of the bus along with tentative timelines of its arrival at their desired location.
