BUSTED 06 MEMBERS GANG OF FAKE EDUCATION CERTIFICATES

The Special Operation Team, Madhapur Zone and Miyapur Police have busted a
FAKE EDUCATION CERTIFICATES raket and arrested 06 members of the gang on
13.11.2022. The accused were arrested in Miyapur and were involved in preparation and
procurement of Bachelor Degree courses certificates.

The interstate gang had prepared fake certificates of Mahathma Gandhi University of Meghalaya State. Seized the fake education certificates i.e., MG university– 157 Memo of marks sets, MG University Convocation Files – 11, Registered post envelops from MG University -08, HCL CPU (Intel Core) -1, Laptops -09, Stamps -04, MG University ID Cards, MG University prospectus, SS Universities Center letter pad -03 sets, SS Universities Center Application Forms, Bill Books – 07, Students Name Record Dairy -01, Panjab Technical University tutorial CDs – 08, MG University CD Guide – 01, Registers – 07, Net Cash – 50,000/-, Mobile Phones -07 and

cash at Bank accounts of the accused persons of Rs. 37,45,345/-.

FACTS OF THE CASE:

The complainant Shaik Khaja Nayab Rasool R/o Miyapur N/o Vishakapatnam,
AP has stated that about four months back, he came to Hyderabad and stayed in Miyapur.

He wanted to pursue the degree and he asked for suggestion with his known person Prem Kumar.

Upon that he in front of him that he knows one Sharma who is resident of
Secundrabad and running a consultancy. He can provide Degree certificate in one sitting
and he contacted Sharma for BSC (IT) course in distance mode, Sharma has told that he
knows Akilesh and Praveen of Mahathma Gandhi University Meghalaya and with their help he can conduct online exam for BSC (1T) Course.

Further he asked to furnish the
petitioner's Pass port Size photo, Inter Memo, and one ID proof and further informed that Prem can tell the fee particulars of this course. There after Prem told that the fee for the course is Rs. 2,10,000/-. On believing their words he has sent an amount of Rs. 2,07,000/- through his phone pay (9441573592) account to Prem Kumar phone pay (9701041841) account.

After few days he received memos of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya for the academic years 2014, 2015 and 2016 through Prem Kumar WhatsApp. Later he verified his certificates and came to know that, those are fake certificates.

Basing on this information the team apprehended accused persons viz.,
Geekuru Prem Kumar N/o Khammam Dist and Garikapati Venkata Baskara Satyanarayana Sharma @ Sharma R/o Secundrabad who have been providing one time sitting degree
certificates from Mahathma Gandhi University of Meghalaya. He provided nearly 430 fake certificates from the university with the help of Akhilesh Semwal, Dinesh Singh and

Tajinder Singh all R/o Delhi who are providing the fake certificates.

The accused Garikapati Venkata Baskara Satyanarayana Sharma confessed
that, he has been running a SS University Center consultancy business at Mettuguda,
Secnderabad since 10 years. He contacted many innocent students thriough Sujatha who is working as a receptionist and telecaller & advisor in his SS university Center from 2012.

After that they searched in Google and came to know about one time sitting study
certificates providers. During this process he came in contact with the accused Akhilesh
Semwal, Dinesh Singh and Tajinder Singh who worked in MG university earlier and
providing fake study certificates from the said University. So far, they have provided fake study certificates to nearly 430 people and collected an amount ranging from Rs. 1,50,000/- to 2,50,000/- from each student.
