In Ayodhya, speaking to the vast assembly following the consecration rituals at the magnificent Ram Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared today, “Our beloved Ram has now manifested.”
“I stand before you as you witness the divine presence within the temple’s innermost sanctum. There is much to express, but a deep emotion fills my throat. Following immense patience, countless sacrifices, and unwavering penance, our revered Lord Ram has graced us. I extend my congratulations to the nation on this momentous occasion,” expressed the Prime Minister.
He asserted that Ram Lalla would now reside in more dignified quarters, stating that this consecration marks a divine favor from Lord Ram. He emphasized that January 22 is not merely a date on the calendar but the emergence of a new era.
Drawing a parallel between the consecration ceremony and liberation from a mentality of enslavement, he emphasized that being alive to witness this historic event is a tremendous blessing. He declared that even after millennia, people will recall and cherish this specific date and moment, attributing it to the supreme blessings of Lord Ram.
Expressing humility, he sought forgiveness from the deity, acknowledging that there might have been some oversight or lapse leading to the extended time it took to reach this significant juncture.
Stating that “the existence of Lord Ram was doubted,” the Prime Minister remarked, “Within India’s Constitution, on its initial page, Lord Ram is present. I express gratitude to the Supreme Court for upholding the integrity of the law.”
