Arrest of the drug peddlers

As per the instructions of the CP Cyberabad, SOT teams of Cyberabad and NDPS Cell are in constant look out for Drug Peddlers and Consumers, and has developed various sources and informants to curb the menace of Drugs and Other Psychotropic substances. As a result, on credible information, SOT Madhapur team has apprehended (03) accused Persons who are dealing with Cocaine drug powder form, and seized 183 Grams Cocaine Drug, 44 No’s of MD Ecstasy Tablets and 03-Mobile Phones from their Position, all worth of the seized drug of Rs. 26,28,000/-.

CASE REGISTERED: –

1. Cr. No: 799/2021, U/s 21(a)(c), 22, 29 & NDPS Act 1985 of Raidurgam PS.

DETAILS OF ACCUSED: –

1. (Main Organizer & Drug Supplier) Zude @ Chris, R/o Goa State, N/o. Nigeria Country (Absconding).
2. (Sub-Organizer) Mohammed Ashraf Baig, S/o. Mohamed Afzal Baig, Age: 37 yrs, Occ: Arabick Tutor, R/o. Toli Chowki, Hyderabad. (181 Gram Cocaine)
3. (Consumer) Rameshwara Sravan Kumar, S/o. Thirumallaiah, Age: 24 yrs, R/o: Nizampet, Bachupally. (1 Gram Cocaine)
4. (Consumer) Gorental Charan Teja, S/o. Venkat Rao, Age: 27 yrs, R/o: Kondapur, N/o: Anambatlavaari Palem, Prakasham District, Andhrapradesh State. (1 Gram Cocaine)

BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE: –

The Special Operation Team Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad on 22.12.2021 upon credible information, apprehended Two Persons by Name Rameshwara Sravan kumar R/o. Gachibwoli and Gorentla Charan Teja. R/o Kondapur, Gachibowli along with 02 Grams of Cocaine Drug at Flat No: B-1305, Ramky Towers beside AIG Hospital at Gachibowli under the limits of Raidurgam PS. The accused Sravan is staying in above said flat and both are friends. Basing on their information the team has made efforts and collected information about Mohammed Ashraf Baig who is the drug Supplier and also peddler and located his address at Tolichowki. Immediately the team has rushed to Tolichowki and taken him in to Custody along with 181 Grams of Cocaine and 44 MD Ecstasy tablets. It came to know that the accused Mohammed Ashraf Baig is procuring huge quantity of Cocaine drug from the main drug supplier Zude, N/o. Nigeria Country  from Goa state in view of New year 31st December-2021.

Further on interrogation of the said accused Mohammed Ashraf Baig is Arabic Tutor and he is staying at Tolichowki, Hyderabad. Later he disclosed that, he brought the Cocaine drug many times from Goa and sells the same drug in Hyderabad and earns easy money.

Seized property:-

1. Cocaine – 183 Grams ( Total 183 Packets, Each Packet 1Gram).
2. Ecstasy Pills (MD) – 44 Nos (44 X 1500/- = 66,000/-).
3. Mobile Phones – 03.

Total Seized Property worth of Rs. 26,28,000/- (183 X 14000 (Each Gram))

EFFORTS BY POLICE:

The above operation was made under the supervision of Sri. G. Sandeep, DCP SOT Cyberabad. The initiation taken and efforts made by Inspector of Police P. Shiva Prasad of SOT Madhapur, along with staff for apprehending drug peddlers. The good work done by SOT Madhapur Zone is highly appreciated and they will be rewarded suitably.

In the year – 2021 till now total cases registered by Cyberabad Police – 202.

• Hashish oil (Weed Oil) – 8.55 Lts
• LYRICA 150mg – 12 tablets
• ALPRAZOLAM – 141 Kg
• MDMA – 116.29 grams
• Opium – 200 grams
• Ecstasy pills- 61 Pills
• LSD Papers- 3 Papers
• PD act invoked on – 23 Drug Offenders.
• The Cyberabad police stepped up its drive against Ganja trade-in Cyberabad Commissionerate limits. Continuous raids are being conducted on a daily basis. Bulk buyers, local retailers and drug transporters are on police radar in order to curb Ganja peddling and usage.
• This is the biggest haul of Cocaine till date in Telangana State
