ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ, 16 ਜੁਲਾਈ- ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੰਸਦ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਨਸੂਨ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ 155 ਸਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ‘ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਐਂਡ ਬੁੱਕਸ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਕਟ’ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਿੱਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਵਿਵਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਦਾਇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
