The Chief Minister described the summit as a significant step toward accelerating industrial expansion and positioning Punjab as a leading investment destination.

Speaking during the meeting, Mann said the event is aimed at giving fresh momentum to the state’s industrial growth and attracting both domestic and international investors. He expressed confidence that the summit would play a transformative role in strengthening Punjab’s economy.

“The Progressive Punjab Investment Summit will serve as a catalyst for boosting industrial development and creating new economic opportunities in the state,” he said.

The summit will be organised under the theme ‘Punjab Means Business – Policy to Practice’, highlighting the government’s focus on translating policy initiatives into actionable results.

Mann noted that the state government has undertaken extensive outreach efforts to promote the event, including roadshows in major Indian cities such as Gurugram, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. Promotional engagements have also been conducted internationally in countries including Japan and South Korea.

According to the Chief Minister, the response from industry leaders has been highly encouraging, with significant interest shown by corporate groups from India and abroad.

He stated that the summit will provide a comprehensive platform to showcase Punjab’s investor-friendly policies, infrastructure capabilities and incentive frameworks. Discussions with global industry leaders during the event are expected to help shape a forward-looking industrial action plan for the state.

Highlighting recent reforms, Mann said the government has introduced measures such as green stamp paper in property registrations to streamline processes and ensure faster regulatory approvals for industrial projects.

He further emphasised that Punjab offers a conducive industrial ecosystem supported by skilled manpower capable of meeting the needs of modern industry.

Addressing energy security, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of reliable power supply in driving economic growth. He said the state has taken significant steps to strengthen its power infrastructure and move toward surplus electricity generation, ensuring uninterrupted supply for industries.

The three-day summit is expected to bring together policymakers, industry leaders and investors, with the goal of unlocking new growth opportunities and reinforcing Punjab’s position in India’s industrial landscape.
