Ticket sales open for Premier’s Harmony Dinner

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Premier’s Harmony Dinner, one of the most anticipated events on
the Multicultural NSW calendar.

The 2024 event will celebrate and honour NSW residents whose commitment to community harmony
and social cohesion makes them leaders across the community.

Multicultural NSW Chief Executive Officer Joseph La Posta said the event was set to become the largest
ever, with a record 1,600 tickets available for the evening.

“Every year multicultural community members eagerly await the start of ticket sales so they can join in
the celebrations,” Mr La Posta said.

“Together we uniquely celebrate and unite Community Language Schools from across NSW, our NSW
Ethnic Community Councils, Migrant Resource Centres and many hundreds of dedicated community and
faith leaders from right across NSW.”

“This year we will again highlight the rich history of cultural diversity in NSW, and how it has influenced
and continues to shape our state’s future.”

Since its inception in 2012, the annual Premier’s Harmony Dinner recognises and celebrates cultural
diversity in NSW. It is hosted by the Minister for Multiculturalism, in the presence of the Premier of New
South Wales.

The evening is a chance for guests to connect, share stories and strengthen relationships across adiverse range of cultural and faith groups.

A key component of the event is the awards program to honour individuals who have had a lasting and
significant impact on our multicultural society in NSW, by awarding of the Premier's Multicultural
Community Medals.

Importantly, people who have passed away over the previous year who dedicated their lives to the
principles of multiculturalism will be inducted into the Multicultural Honour Roll. This posthumous
recognition honours their lasting legacy of service to our diverse state.
